We are only a week away from the last winter holiday before the grade 12s head off to university. They have made it through the bulk of their internal assessment work (hopefully with minimal complications) and they are preparing to move into the part of the diploma course where they review and prepare for exams.
University application deadlines for most places will come due in early January and many of our grade 12s have already commenced on this, but a few others will need a nudge to remind them to work on this in advance.
We have mock exams starting on January 19th and running through January 26th.
After this, in February, we have the Abu Dhabi trip which will be a nice opportunity to relax before the big push towards exam. If you have not already made the deposit for this trip, please do so we can book the hotels and transportation.
It’s been busy and a lot of work, make sure you take a minute to acknowledge how well they (the grade 12 students) are keeping it all together.
