Dear parents,
Today I attended the KG1 & 2 and Grade 1 assembly. It was a delight with the students demonstrating what they are learning. Thank you to their teachers for organising the presentations.
Next Sunday evening we will be releasing the new signup sheet for ASA’s. There are several new ASA’s as well as some of the ones that were run in the past few weeks. Signup finishes on Wednesday, October 26, and the ASA’s will begin immediately after we return from the October break on Sunday, November 6. Please enroll your child in an After School Activity as they are very worthwhile.
Next week on Thursday the Term One school reports are released. Teachers have been working hard this last week to ensure they are providing the most up-to-date information on your child’s progress. Should you have any questions after receiving the report next Thursday, please contact your child’s teacher after the October break.
This morning Matthew Richmond arrived in Sohar from the UK. Matthew is our new PYP coordinator and will be working closely with Maeve Doherty and the primary teachers. Please make him welcome when you see him on campus, and as we have a primary coffee morning next week on Tuesday, 8.00 am, you can meet Matthew and Maeve for a coffee and chat!
We have been organising school trips that will take place in January and February 2023. In November we will release full details of the trips. They have been carefully designed to provide maximum opportunities for students to learn through practical experiences.
Please remember that the week of Sunday, October 30 – Thursday, November 4 is a school break. The school will resume on Sunday, November 6.
