Dear KG2 Families,
First of all, thank you to those who were able to come and celebrate our learning with us at the assembly. The children loved having you at school.
Our little learners did an amazing job. They were very proud of their accomplishment. Well done to everyone!
This week, our class discussions were about our big dreams and big goals. We talked about what we should do to reach our goals. We came to the conclusion that we need to practice and keep trying if we would like to reach our goals. The children shared their big dreams with their classmates through their drawings and explained what they wanted to be when they grow up.
Next week, we will talk about short term goals we would like to achieve at school this year. We will support children so they can start their goal setting with a short term goal.
In Math, the children continued to explore number recognition and early addition skills. They continued to learn about how to use manipulatives to solve simple problems.
