This week K1 continued to explore different materials and how we use them. They reflected on their constructions last week and the materials they used. They concluded that using the big plastic blocks were the most successful to build with and they could fit inside. The biscuits and icing sugar were the least successful but all the children thought it was the most fun to build with and tasty to eat. In Art the children used different materials to design their own houses, they identified that they needed windows, a roof and doors. Some of the students finished their hats this week and have decided that they want to do a fashion show next week.
