KG 2 AW – Making Hats From Different Materials- by Ms Asila Al Meqbali

This week we continued our inquiry into materials and design by making hats. KG2 showed their hats to the KG1 and KG2 classes. They made them from different materials such as: fabrics, plastic, papers and foam. They talked about how they made it , what’s the purpose of the hats, and where they can wear it.
The students had a wonderful time in the pool. They learn new actions to be a good swimmer .All students had a great fun and enjoyed.

We continue our daily activities in jolly phonics, they listen to jolly phonics sound and write what they listen then try to read the word.

The students learn a new sounds “ee, or”
This week the students made a book about their holiday.
They drew a pictures about what they did in their holiday and where they went.
The pupils had a fun time in physical education.
This week in information literacy, the students had a great time they choose a stories and try to read it with their friends and the teachers supporting them.
They enjoyed reading the stories
We had so much fun and a big challenge to make a house out of biscuits and icing!
We visited the KG1’s to learn our assembly song.
