A highlight of the week was our visit to the ABIS Museum of Oman in the LC3 atrium on Monday morning. What an amazing sight to see the children dressed in traditional clothing, walking around and looking at the Omani arts, crafts, and history!
This week we’ve continued our inquiry into how rocks tell the story of the earth. The students had a great time creating their own play dough models of the earth and cutting them in half to see the different rock layers! We’ve also read about the minerals that make up rocks. We were surprised to learn that we EAT some minerals: calcium in milk and cheese, iron in spinach and beef, and salt on most everything!
