Ms Ancilla was excited that the children wanted to take their white boards or paper and a pencil to record their observations on the farm. We discussed what makes something living or non-living. Then we worked on 2 more pages of our shared information book to show living and non- living things from the farm. We also talked about what living things need. It was also super special to have the families visit our school and classroom. We hope you enjoyed the “tour” and learning that your child shared with you. Thank you for attending.

Recording our observations.
Look at the living things we saw on the farm.
We sorted out the things we saw on the farm. We also talked about how we know if something is living or non-living. This lead us to talk about what living things need.
We practised sharing our reading for the conferences.
We read our sentences to our friends.
Sharing Our Learning. We took our families on a tour of our learning spaces.
