This week the K1 students completed building and planting in their wadi. They are learning to make connections to the resources many living things need to survive such as water, food and sunlight. They are also having to make a plan of how they are going to take responsibility keeping the wadi watered so the seeds will grow. The students have also planted some tomato seeds which they will have to take responsibility for. Finally they had so much fun last week making play dough insects we decided to make some more from clay sticks and beads.
