We have had another busy and productive week. We started working on our Unit of Inquiry book about Sharing The Planet: Living things. Despite this seeming a daunting task for the children, they rose to the occasion and feel proud of what they have created. We also practised reading our I like books. We had a great time “getting creative” with the cubes in Maths and doing lots of counting. Ms Nicholson told the children The Five Little Ducks story, about how the ducks lost their beautiful environment to landfill. Some children have also been busy using the recycled materials at the maker station. We had a special impromptu dance performed on the stage outside in the playground. We are practising games and activities to show our families at our conferences next week on Wednesday and Thursday. Please remember to sign up for student lead conferences. We look forward to seeing you next week. Ms Ancilla
