This week in Grade 3 we thought about expressing ourselves through the arts.
The students practiced observational drawings of scenes around the school in preparation for their watercolor paintings. Unfortunately it was a bit windy, but they persevered and looked carefully at the details they needed to include in their drawings.
In Music, the students continued to practise the recorder and have been sharing the instruments they made using recycled materials.
Some students are having the opportunity to be the teacher and plan and deliver lessons of their choice. This week, we were lucky to learn some gymnastic moves and we also took action by collecting rubbish around the school, while learning about pollution.
