Did you know that we are all scientists? We are observing, predicting and testing every day without even knowing it. Today in STEAM the students were introduced to some of the vocabulary of the scientific method; question, hypothesis, observation being just a few.
The students were then given a challenge. They were given an ice cube and they had to either make it last as long as they could or make it melt as fast as they could.
Students wrote hypotheses and tested out theories. We have a bunch of scientists in the making.
