This week we started unpacking our central idea through discussing and practicing the process of “thinking”. We participated in different simple thinking routines in order to deepen our understanding and come up with our own description for this word. We regularly think and predict what a story will be about before we read it. We have already started practicing to think and plan our artworks or use of a variety of materials as we are segwaying to our next action which is “to create”. We have been learning how to recognize and write some letters and practicing to read and write our names.
In Mathematics, we continued to focus on Number Sense playing different games and doing different activities. Our main focus is on counting forwards from 0 to 10 and backwards from 10 to 0, putting these numerals in order, identifying these numbers.
