Could YOU take a plain piece of A4 paper and make it strong enough to be a bridge? The Grade 4 students can! They worked in pairs to discuss, plan and design a paper bridge using just that, one piece of paper.
We had decided that a glue stick was a useful testing object. If your bridge was strong enough to hold a glue stick then you had been successful. I was fascinated to see the different ways people came to a solution. Great thinking Grade 4 and fantastic physically distanced partner work.
