Bonjour, this first week has been very informative for DP French B classes. The students learnt more about the content of the program in terms of topics, concepts and assessments. I had the opportunity to get an idea of the strength and enthusiasm of both DP 1 and DP 2 groups. The 2 year French B course covers a variety of interesting and inspiring topics and questions. It enables the students to review what they have studied in MYP as well as acquire the key content to be successful at the end of the course and be able to confidently use the language in real life situations. We will be using the coursebook and workbook shown in the picture as well as some up to date authentic resources, one of them being the well-known TV5 Monde channel and website.
