This week we showcase our dioramas. The children chose a learner’s profile attribute to be the message that their story would tell. Then they had the opportunity to retell a story or write their own. Making their diorama was a great opportunity to practice their design and engineering skills.
We also recorded our Readers’ Workshop as we performed it for Miss Maeve. She thoroughly enjoyed it and commended the children for their practise, focus and working together. The video link will be shared in Sunday’s newsletter. Several students have also become highly competent with technology and it is wonderful how they able to “assist” and “teach” each other in the online classroom. The last photo in this post, shows Emma presenting her PUBLISHED fairy tale to the class. Her friends really enjoyed listening to her read her story.
