A busy week in Grade 6. In Maths we have been continuing to tackle multiplication strategies, during inquiry we have been inquiring into reasons for human migration and in Literacy we have been reading a class novel: The Boy at the Back of the Class, about a refugee child from Syria joining a school in the UK. In writing we have been learning about the 5 main features of a newspaper report and practicing the moves to help us remember. They are:
