Grade 8 students have been reading gothic plays in small groups and analysing how gothic elements add mystery, suspense and action to the narrative. But, what’s the fun of reading plays if we can’t perform? Afterall, the plays were written to be performed. So, this week I had the pleasure of watching our student directors and actors choose a scene from their play and perform it for the rest of their class members. Enjoy some pictures.
