For our unit of inquiry this week we have been learning about Farm animals and how they live. We visited our farm and did some observations. Some of the students brought in pictures of farms they have visited or their families own. The children looked at the habitat where the animals live and their needs such as food water and shelter. They then drew their observations and provided a description. In Class they continued to build habitats, paint and create animals using a variety of different materials. This week we welcomed the tortoise and the birds into the ECC, the students are very interested and taking an active role in looking after them.
