This has been a busy term for Grade 12 with mock exams, trying to complete as much of the syllabus as possible and IA planning and drafts to complete. Math A&I students have to really put in a huge effort to produce results they expect. We have a strategy in place to assist them next term, with planned self-study as well as exam practice problems. This holiday is more of a slow-down to organise and plan and work on their deadlines for completion of IAs. First drafts should be ready for review at the end of the first week after the break. We barely have two months left to exams, so a big effort has to be made now. Parents can assist by supporting and encouraging a planned use of time and discussing strategies of how to help their children. Hang in there. The end is in sight!
