The DP students have been conducting experimental work this week. The Grade 11’s have been equating measurements of ‘g’ derived from home experiments and graphs of their data with the local value here at ABIS (9.78 N kg-1). The Grade 12’s have been planning and executing their investigation into an aspect of physics for their individual investigation. This investigation includes posing a research question, collecting the data to answer it, using an efficient data collection system, collecting and analyzing the data. The end point is to be able to answer their research question, in 6-12 pages, with some certainty when compared to a literature value. This Individual Assessment forms part of their final grade for their score in Physics.
