This week, grade 12 students have begun revising for exams by looking at the paper 1 topic of The Move to Global War. We are revisiting the case study of Japanese Expansion in the first half of the 20th century. Grade 11 students are also looking at this topic for the first time. In looking at reasons for Japanese expansion, we created and edited a timeline that stretches into the 1800s to trace the beginnings of nationalism and militarism in Japan.
