Cloudy with a 0% chance of rain

We started to explore and categorise different types of clouds for our Unit of Inquiry. I would love it if students could use their sheet to go on a cloud hunt this weekend.

Seasons

Combining our Unit of Inquiry on weather, and maths we have been looking at seasons. We were identifying the months found in each season (in the northern hemisphere…this muddled Fiona just coming from the Southern hemisphere) and the type of weather that is often associated with each season.

Tiny Books

We read the book ‘Library Mouse’ and we wrote our own tiny books inspired by the tiny library books that Sam the Mouse wrote for the kids in the library he called his home.

Daily Weather Data

We have been collecting morning and afternoon weather data. We shall continue collecting our daily data next week. We would love if you continue to collect data at your house over the holidays. Has your child taught you about measuring oktas yet?

Trillion Fiona Rial Winners this week….I wonder what they will spend their Fiona money on?
