This week we have journeyed into our new unit of inquiry on Mapping (Maps are Created to Represent and Understand our World).
We’ve started by find out what we know and want to know about mapping and also created a map of what matters to us in our hearts. We have also been thinking about places and settings in fiction (books, movies and video games).

We have started looking at the genre of personal recounts and we have been focusing on making sure we include the 5Ws (who, what, where, when and why) when we plan our writing.

Our maths focus has been on practising counting by 5s, collecting data, collecting data using tally marks and using this data to create and interpret graphs.
