It is another short week – but there is so much learning happening in Grade 1. We wrote ‘yum’ and ‘yuk’ stories to help us think about trying something new and being open minded.
We read about Carla’s Sandwich and thought about how being different is creative and makes us special and unique – how is that for learning some big, new words for talking about ‘who we are’ !
Wait until we share our ‘star qualities’, that is when you will see our creativity and individuality shine!
Sometimes you can’t see our differences, people’s ideas are different too, so we are doing some research about favourite things. Here is what we have found out about pizza choices in our class. Imagine if everyone Wanted just the same . . . Boring!
