This week in grade 3 has been exciting with the students showing increased confidence with online learning. We have introduced break out groups where students receive guidance in a smaller group. Ms Liezel and Ms Willis have been an important part of the students learning this week by extending and reinforcing new vocabulary and number work.

We have started work on a very special poem connected to biographies in our English lesson. The new vocabulary that the students thought of has taken their writing to a new level. The poem will be completed next week and shared with you.

Fatima and Hamid show their work spaces this week. The students have shown excellent organization skills by having the required books and resources available.

We have completed our Adjective Art work and the results are outstanding. Capital letters and bright colours were chosen as a way to express ourselves. The chosen adjectives from each student describes who they are.

Can you see your amazing adjective art?

We welcomed Ms Maeve and Mr Dominic into our class this week. They loved meeting the students and enjoyed the activities that we were engaged in. We like to start the day with some exercise, today was exciting because Ms Simpson joined both year 3 classes online and prepared the students for the day with some great moves!

Both grade 3 classes will enjoy a work out each Thursday with Ms Simpson.
The students asked, “What were you doing Mr Mike during the exercise?” Next week I think I will have to take part!

Thank you for your continued support, you should feel very proud with what the students are achieving.
