We are enjoying our days as best as we can here in Illinois! Julia has some friends come over for pool time. We go on a walk every evening even through the humidity. I never saw a flower on a sweet potato vine before (the decorative vine, not the produce plant) so I have been enjoying these beautiful little buds. This is a monarch caterpillar. it was enjoying a lovely snack of some milkweed. Sadly it was gone the next day so we did not get to see it transform – my bet is on a juicy snack for something even though they are poisonous…
