Hello Grade Ones
It was my birthday during the holidays and I had a yummy Baskin and Robins ice cream cake. When is your birthday? Can you tell me? And you can choose a cupcake that we will put on our calendar in the classroom. I like to be active and did two virtual challenges: 10km “jog” during the month of Ramadan, and a 1 hour cycle. (These were challenging mainly because of the Summer heat.) Tell us how you like to be active?
I loved going to the wadi and the beach with my dogs! I was also helping the stray dogs who live on the street with no home. I was helping people to adopt a dog if they wanted to. I did a course about teaching games to dogs. That was fun. I was learning to draw from this interesting book. This picture I copied upside down! (This was so that I’d use the right side of my brain!) I also did some baking and made these yummy and healthy banana, walnut and date muffins! Did you do some baking? I watched a lot of movies on Netflix. Did you also watch some movies? What was your favourite one? Miss Khadija and myself are excited to see you all and find out about your holidays when our online classroom opens!
