This week the k3 students showed empathy by bringing cheer to people through the beautiful rainbow art. They were also introduced to fractions and learned that a fraction is part of a whole or a set of objects. They were enthusiastic to research some of the fractions in their homes with the help of very supportive parents. They also learned halving whole objects and a set of groups which they responded by cutting objects in halves and halving sets of objects. The k3 students showed commitment to care for the planet by showing different ways on how they reduce waste in their homes in order to save them planet. They showed creativity and explained their activities confidently.
