We were treated this week to see many interesting and beautiful Omani artefacts. Students took photos at home of artefacts and then wrote an explanation of their artefact.
Many of the artefacts are too heavy or precious to bring to school. So it was a treat to see the beautiful belt which Ahmed brought and the traditional woven food cover belonging to his grandmother that Talal brought. We can learn a great deal about life in the past by looking at artefacts.
