This was an action packed day. We had a beautiful guided tour of the grand mosque. The students had a peaceful time at the end of our two hours there to sit in the shade with a nice breeze and sketch the beautiful building. We then headed to Riyam Park for a play, followed by a strenuous 2 hour hike of 4.8 km through mountwins and wadis. We ended up for some shopping at the incredibly busy Souq which was hosting 2 massive cruise ships. The kids did some great bargaining! We ended the day at an outdoor restaurant having delicious shawarma. It has been an incredible day, maybe the best so far!
