As part of our Brain Gym, we are running around the oval twice a week. We run or walk for 15 minutes. Then we count up how many laps each person ran. Each lap is 400m so if we run 5 laps we have run 2km. Every day we run, we add up everyone’s laps and then convert the number of laps into km. We have a map on the wall and on our map, every cm is really 10km. Once a week we mark how far we have run.
