Grade 9 English Language and Literature is now moving to complete a joint unit of work with I&S on the Holocaust. The students have responded commendably to this serious topic of study and they have produced some fantastically moving poetry.
My colleagues and I hope to be able to arrange a display of some of the work produced in time for the Holocaust Memorial Day on Monday 27th January.
Next, we will be moving on to look at communication within the media, which will represent a real shift in terms of subject matter. I am confident that the class will rise to the occasion.
