Sanna’s current task is to choose an existing artwork she likes, create her own original piece as a response, and then design an exhibition that would feature both artworks in the same space. She has courageously opted to work on one of the largest canvases that we have for her oil painting.

In Grade 12, Sara is almost finished with her own large-format oil painting on the theme of self-destruction. Shamma is experimenting with using fabric and melted wax to capture imprints of the human figure. There is a lot of testing, troubleshooting, and innovation that happens when working with new media like this!
