Now that Grade 8 students know the history and elements of Surrealism, and how to generate Surrealistic ideas, they are hard at work creating their own original pieces. They may choose two of three options–to create a short film, to make a magazine collage inspired by the works of Hannah Höch, or to create a Surrealistic landscape using oil pastel and two color families. Émy has opted to submit a larger painting on canvas and other variations on the finished products are welcomed as well.
