Who ever heard of a desert where rain stops your field trip not once but twice??
The Grade 1 learners were excited about their expedition to Wadi Hibi. They have wondered and thought, thought and wondered . . . and were ready to investigate.
Sadly rain was promised and we had to postpone the adventure again.
Sad faces and disappointment were forgotten when 2 of our lovely mums arrived with a delicious breakfast for us all to share. We went to our farm, flung out the wadi mats and had a feast.
This sad story had a happy ending – and our adventure is still to come!
