In this unit of inquiry we have been exploring cooperation and what does it look like in the ECC. The students were able to share with the teachers what they thought cooperation meant to them. They were then able to demonstrate there understanding through a variety of activities. After reading and exploring the book Stone Soup, this week we decided to put the concept behind the story into practice by, cooperating by sharing equipment, being courteous to others and working together in a group. The students worked hard writing the recipe and identifying the vegetables going in the pan. They then, with care chopped the vegetables and pasta to go in the soup. After cooking they then had the opportunity to taste their creation at lunch time. Fun was had by all
