This week in Ms Liezel’s class, the K2 students learned about research and applied some of these skills to find out more about unfamiliar letters.
The students chose a letter they didn’t know. We looked at the letters “v”, “m”, “z”, “o”, “h”, “e”, “r”, “f”. They had to use small alphabet books or alphabet charts to find out the sound of the letter. We then made big letters in art and each student shared what they have learned with the class. As a class we looked at the letter “v” and looked at different pictures starting with this sound. We made a beautiful poster for the class. We will continue with the other letters in the upcoming weeks.
