After two session working collaboratively, discussing and taking notes on three different sources, students were asked to individually turn their note-taking into well-organized and supported paragraphs. Students were encouraged to make connections to their prior learning about maps. We talked about what makes a “good” answer: relevant details, connections to our learning Mercator and Gall-Peters projections…
