The first week in grade 3 has been very exciting! We have spent time getting to know each other through a variety of engaging activities. To motivate the students each day Grade 3 have enjoyed learning some new songs and singing them together in the Mazoon and in class with me playing the guitar.
To establish the class contract of what is expected regarding behavior and learning in Grade 3, we shared our ideas. The students were able to share their ideas in groups and then identify which ideas were connected with behavior and which were connected to learning.
The students have attended PE, dance and music with their specialist teachers and have demonstrated a fantastic attitude to learning. During class the students created some amazing poems using adjectives to describes themselves.
