Sustainability comes with a bit of patience and practice. Often it feels like baby steps, but when you look at how far we’ve come with recycling and the Plasbin program at ABIS, you will see a big step forward. We now have a monthly pick up of our materials being delivered consistently to Muscat. As seen in the photo from Wednesday this week, every month we are now sending a full truck load of paper, plastic, metal, and glass.
Thank you to everyone who has been bringing in their cleanly washed recycled materials! If you would like to get involved, please buy a Plasbag from Ms. Eiman at the front desk of ABIS. Each bag costs only 100 beza. The bags are important because they will help you sort your recycled materials, making it easy when you come to deliver them to the ABIS recycle station near the front of the school.
