This week we wanted the students to revisit a STEAM project they were introduced to at the beginning of the year. The students had to release small toys which had been set in ice. They were presented with different tools and left to use their thinking skills and explore the problem. In the process we observed some very good team work and leadership skills. The students practiced their fine motor skills filling syringes and spraying the ice. Some students preferred to immerse the ice in water and pick out the toys while others used water pumps. In The Art room some students enjoyed being creative producing wonderful paintings and sculptures in play dough. d
