What a week we have had in Grade 1! How can so much happen between Sunday and Thursday?
We hosted secret story tellers from around the world with tales from their home countries.
We took ACTION. We got RESULTS. We felt PROUD.
Here we are with the new recycling bins in ECC after we wrote letters explaining what we needed to help us with our eco warrior battle.
Next week we start a class competition for house points earned with zero waste snack boxes.
Maths has been all about helping The Three Bears get out and about to lead a balanced life style . . . We had to organize water bottles and snack boxes for them to walk and picnic – and then we had to make large, middle-sized and small popcorn containers for them to buy treats on a trip to the movies.
All this meant lots of learning about the space inside containers – the volume.
Just in case all of that was not enough, we finished the week with a big splash at the ECC Swim Gala!
