We looked at what the students know about measurement and why they think measurement is important.
We made paper snakes and decided to measure them by counting the links. They discovered that if you pull the snake on both sides it becomes a bit longer, so not the best method to measure.
We then measured how tall the students are by using string. We ordered them from the shortest to the tallest.
We also measured our body parts using cubes.
