We first found out what the students know about measurement

We practiced our cutting skills and made paper snakes. We then decided to measure them by counting the links in each snake to see who has the most. The students discovered that this is not the most effective way to measure lengths.

We then looked at different items to see where we would use measurement and why We discovered that some items have a “g”,”ml”,”L” on it and that it shows you how much is inside each container.
