Today during advisory, we had the pleasure of welcoming medical students of the National University’ SCORP Human Rights and Peace Group.
They talked about the definition of bullyng,: different types of students such as physical, verbal and social bullying, and cyberbullying.
Our guests also prepared Group activities . A case study was presented. Students were asked to brainstorm what might happen after the bullying, and possible solutions to the problem.
Our own students shared their experiences ofbeing confronted with this issue and how they were able to overcome their challenges.
As an IB World School, we welcome opportunities such as these when local organizations come to visit us and share their expertise that enhance our advisory curriculm. We thank the SCORP group for their time and commitment to raise awareness and prevent or put a stop on bullying.
