Grade four students drew a detailed scene of something they would like to do for the weekend or for summer on a pair of sunglasses. They communicated their thinking using pictures. No words and no talking about it. Then students looked at the different levels of questioning ( beginning with simple yes or no) and eventually moved to higher level questions to identify the scene. Grade four students were able to work on their communication and listening skills. In the end, students reflected on this activity from both perspectives of being the interviewer and the questioner.
