This week students were inspired by their library visit to try to organize our own classroom library. We thought about what would be useful categories to use, and then had to examine the books carefully to find out which categories they belonged to. Students discovered new books to read, and appreciate how it made finding books easier.
We also worked on expanding our vocabulary, looking at action verbs and synonyms for common adjectives.
