Today the K2 students participated in role play in the classroom. We built a shop and stacked the shelve with healthy delights the students could purchase with toy money. The students covered Maths skills such as counting, adding and subtraction and number recognition. For Language the students were expected to communicate in English. They were expected to greet each other and make purchases from the shop. They took turns to take on different roles such as a customer or a shop keeper. All the students had great fun and were fully engaged in the activity. They were able to put their knowledge and skills into practice.
We also practiced writing our names and forming the letters correctly.
