Collaborative groups were each researching a biome. What makes the biome unique? What aspect of climate change is causing damage to the biome? What affect is this having? What is being done about it? What else should be done?

Each group worked together researching, organizing and analyzing the research findings and then preparing a group slide presentation to share with the class.
Students took turns being the “manager” of their group each day. The manager needed to keep people on task, delegate jobs for group members and clarify instructions. Many Grade 6s were up to the challenge and made great managers!
