Students in grade five have the chance to really see how language is used in all areas. The task was simple, to just agree on the right answers on the math sheet. Yet they quickly saw that they didn’t have the same answers, and had to figure out what was right. At one point they all agreed that an answer was right, only to discover that they wrong. This made the person who changed their answer from the right one to the wrong one learn to defend their ideas more clearly. It was a good learning experience.
